Who We Are

New Day Lifestyles was born in December 2023.  Ramie and Julia worked together in the Senior Industry for several years.  They found that there was a need for dedicated, compassionate, collaboration to help people during a vulnerable time in life.  This dynamic duo have helped hundreds of people with their Servant Leadership and knowledge of the Senior Living Industry.

Growing up in Iowa, I learned about values, hard work and being kind to others.  After graduation, I moved to Kansas City to get my Occupational Therapy degree and that’s where I met my husband.  I practiced Occupational Therapy in many clinical settings, where I specialized in senior Rehabilitation.  After moving to Arizona from Chicago, with my husband and 2 Newfoundlands, I discovered how my environment played such a role in my quality of life. My desire and commitment to help seniors into their next chapter of life, led me to form New Day Lifestyles with Ramie.

Hailing from the cold weather in North Dakota I moved to the Arizona heat over 20 years ago. My son, significant other, our 2 rescue dogs, and I live in Queen Creek. Shortly after moving to AZ, I obtained my clinical degree in respiratory therapy. Every career move since the beginning was driven by my desire to do more for others. I would never accept the “this is how it is” mindset. Having spent my youth in hospitals and skilled long term nursing centers with my grandma who had many health problems, I didn’t know there was a different way for seniors until I started working with seniors myself. My dedication to serving the community and seniors led to the formation of New Day Lifestyles with Julia.

A Michigan native and longtime Arizona resident, I have spent my career championing high-quality healthcare, transitioning from a Respiratory Therapist in Level I trauma care to a dedicated advocate for seniors and their families. Guided by the values of family and commitment instilled by my grandparents, I leverage over 20 years of collaboration with my partners, Ramie and Julia, to help others navigate complex healthcare decisions with empathy and expertise. My mission is rooted in a lifelong passion for improving the quality of life for seniors, ensuring they receive the dedicated support and advocacy they deserve.
